Maneuver Support CDID

The Maneuver Support Capability Development Integration Directorate (MS CDID) provides unity of effort to advance the Army’s development of protection capabilities, which are critical to denying enemy freedom of action, enabling access, and preserving critical capabilities, assets, and activities.

The MS CDID executes maneuver support and protection activities in support of the Army and Joint Force, enabling Joint and Combined arms teams to dominate advanced peer adversaries from competition through conflict.

The MS CDID accomplishes its work through the development, integration and synchronization of Army Protection concepts and capabilities, as enabled by four core competencies:

Core Competencies

Concepts – Create future operational and organizational concepts for Army Protection.

Requirements – Develop material and non-material capability requirements for future chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN), engineering, Military Police, and protection modernization efforts.

Experimentation – Conduct experimentation, analysis and studies to identify capability gaps, assess risks and validate concepts in support of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities modernization solutions.

Integration – Mature, synchronize and execute maneuver support and protection modernization strategies.
